My lifelong passion has always been music. I have been playing guitar since I was 14 and was fortunate enough to have been out into

lessons right away. Not only did I see the value in lessons but experienced the joy of music study. I have been self supported since the

age of 14 so allocating time for music has been an ongoing challenge, one that is always worth the effort.

I was a music major at the University of Montana, have played in several bands, and now do independent recording projects in my

own home studio. I auditioned several instructors before finding Sharon, I explained I was looking for someone to help me expand my

musical vocabulary as well as improve on my rusty piano chops.

Sharon has provided a profoundly cohesive approach to assisting me in expanding my musical vocabulary as well fusing piano fundamentals

with integrated music theory. She has an expert ability to motivate and encourage the student while maintaining a lighthearted atmosphere.
