NATURE-BASED LIVING  

 

Have you ever stopped to think about your connection

to our Planet Earth?

How are you like other creatures?

How are you different?

​

You and I are actually part of nature!

We evolved here!  Our system has been immersed

in the cycles forever.

​

Thus, we function best, we feel our best

when we are aligned with the cycles of nature.

​

Awake with the sun

Sleep with the stars

Move the vessel you were born with

Commune with other aspects of nature-

the trees, the waters, the sun

​

All of this helps you to feel more grounded and centered!

​

​

Our Planet Earth moved slowly...with regularity!

It is calm!

It is balanced!

It is consistent!

It is slow!

It is predictable! 

​

Thus, when we are calm, balanced and consistent, our

nervous system is aligned with the planet we inhabit

and thus feel balanced.  â€‹

​

When you slow down, breathe slowly, and stay

in the present moment, you function best!

​

You are mentally clear!

You can balance your emotions!

You body feels safe!

​

All of the above supports you in aligning with the 

nature rhythm of your body! 

​

WHAT IS THE OPPOSITE OF THE ABOVE

NATURE BASED-BODY BASED LIFESTYLE? 

​

Often in life, the environment around us is not aligned

with a Nature-Based Lifestyle.

​

Some examples might be:  

A busy mall with numerous sounds, smells and images!

Living near a freeway with car fumes, bright lights & 24 hour traffic!

A store with hundreds of fragrant soaps, skin lotions & perfumes!

A movie with loud sounds & graphic images!  

Living with electronic devices nearby!

BECOMING AWARE FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENT

​

The first step to living a Nature-Based Life is just to be

aware of your surrounding as you move through your day. 

How does your body feel in the various places your day takes you?

Do you notice your body reacting differently to different places? 

​

​

NOTE:  

I am not suggesting that we need to avoid all experiences 

that are not Nature-Based, because that would be impossible. 

​

However, I do believe that we can choose to more often

be in a supportive environment! And, we can also

learn about various practices that automatically

raise your frequency, so that when you need

to be in places that are not that nature-

based, you are not that deeply

affected by them. 

​

LEARNING TO FEEL SUBTLE SHIFTS

IN YOUR BODY

I invite you to do a simple experiment to

see how your body responses in this situation.

​

Look at the first one for one minute. 

Feel into your body.

How does it feel? 

Is the feeling pleasant? 

is the feeling disruptive?
