SEPTEMBER: Book Study: The 7 Spiritual
Laws for Parents (and Children)
by Deepak Chopra

This is one of my all time favorite books. In this book Deepak goes over the stages of development from birth to the mid-teens. He points out key characteristics of children at each stage. Then he explains 7 universal laws that support both parents and children
in successful living. One example is: "You are here for a reason".
When there are positive conversation, on-going in the home
and children's ideas are heard, they feel they belong. They
feel part of a caring and lovely family. This allows both parents
and children to thrive.

OCTOBER: The Art of Listening to Children &
The Art of Peaceful Parenting
During October we will talk about the power of listening to children
and the importance of this if you want to create a deeper connection with your children and the role it plays in Peaceful Parenting.
You'll be invited to reflect on your home life and see what is already working and what you might like to shift, in regards to your connection with your children and living with your family values. Peaceful Parenting is a powerful nine step program that support you in deepening into your family values, connecting with your children and parenting by choice not chance.

NOVEMBER: Creating Your Happy, Healthy, Harmonious Home
Through the years of parenting, I've discovered the importance of creating a home environment where children and parents can
thrive! Where is your favorite place in your home? Where is
your children's favorite place to hang out? When each person
has a place in the home they can really be themselves and have
part in creating, they thrive.

DECEMBER: Nurturing Your Child's Soul Talents
And Gifts
Have you ever heard the concept that children choose their
parents? I believe this is true. They chose you for a reason. When you step back and reflect on questions such as
What am I learning from this child?
What am I here to support him/her with in their life? When you see
a direction, a talent, a gift your child has, and your nurture
that, you'll be amazed at the happy faces you'll be seeing, and
the time that your child will entertain themselves on their
own because they are following their heart...and exploreing
their Soul's direction/ calling.
