SHARON ANN WIKOFF  has been on the spiritual path since she was 10 years of age and sent away for Bible Lessons.  She's studied both Eastern and Western Teachings.  She's the mother of 3 adult children and a former elementary teacher and author of 3 books on listening to children.  Since childhood, she's always wanted to do life in a "natural" way!  That has led to her walking a unique path. She was introduced to small town LIVE RADIO in 2006 and has had a passion for interviewing individuals who understand these "Times of Transition".  She hosted the VOICE OF CHANGE Program from 2009 – 2024. When I was 18 and working as a Camp Counselor, a child ran off when upset in a special class. I was asked to find her. In the hour that followed, I found her and learned how to communicate with her that allowed her to feel heard and safe. THE ART OF RECOVERING MOBILITY AFTER AN INJURY, STROKE, LONG ILLNESS OR THE PROCESS OF AGING

Throughout life, Sharon has had numerous body challenges that have made her acutely aware of keeping both sides of her body balanced. This practice was greatly refined after a serious arm injury, followed by the arm breaking as the result of a fall. After surgery, she was left with 2 pins in her arm,  and was  told she would probably never have full range of motion in her arm/wrist again. Without access to any rehabilitative therapy, she designed her own therapy! 9 months later she had full range of motion in her arm, wrist and fingers!  In the process of healing her arm, she developed a “mirroring of the body” method in the 1990's.  She continue to use this method today.  Once you learn the concept behind the practice, you can apply it to any mobility issue. Sharon will demonstrate how she applied this recently, when she observed a range of motion limitation while doing a Qi Gong movement.  This method can be used when recovering from an injury, stroke, long illness or the process of aging.
