Do you REALLY "SEE" Your Child?

When you are in the flow of daily life, it can be very busy! During busy times, it's easy to just keep on going, handling the situation right before your eyes. Life can work in this way.

However, when we STOP for moment and "really see" all that is happening, a newness can unfold right before our eyes.

When you STOP and "REALLY" look at a situation, something totally NEW may be revealed!

When we are "present" in this moment, fully here and now, without distractions, a newness can unfold.

YOU may hear your child say something unexpected and inquire more deeply into what you heard.

YOU may see your child do something different than ever before and begin a conversation about what your heard.

YOU may pick up a sadness within your child and take time to be with him / her in that moment and allow more to be revealed.

When you are present to THIS MOMENT, you are curious about what will happen next. It reminds me of listening to my children when they were learning to speak for the first time. I was SO interested in what they would say. Their words were like a doorway into their Soul, and the brilliance of their unique spirit.

This openness to the present moment can be so exciting. Your child can "be" like a great mystery story...unfolding moment by moment, word by word!
